A 50-metre wide-body airliner, an L-1011-500 that first flew for Royal Jordanian, scuttled on 26 August 2019 as an artificial reef. It sits upright on sloping sand, the cockpit facing the beach at about 15 m and the tail down at 28 m. All three engines are still on, and the cabin, galleys and flight deck are open to divers.طائرة ركاب عريضة البدن بطول 50 مترًا، من طراز L-1011-500، طارت أولًا لصالح الملكية الأردنية، وأُغرقت عمدًا يوم 26 أغسطس 2019 لتصبح شعابًا اصطناعية. تجلس منتصبة على رمل منحدر، قمرة القيادة نحو الشاطئ عند نحو 15 م والذيل في الأسفل عند 28 م. المحركات الثلاثة ما زالت في مكانها، والمقصورة والمطابخ وسطح القيادة مفتوحة للغواصين.

The guided dive lasts about 7 minutes: down the buoy line, round the cockpit, in through door 1 and along the cabin, out over the wing to an engine, through the tail engine's S-duct, down to the tail at 28 m, and back up the line for a safety stop.
